The Travels of Roo

We met Roo on a trip through Australia and New Zealand, at the Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary near Hobart, Tasmania. There we got to see kangaroos and other animals being cared for so they could be returned to the wild.

 

But Roo was different. While all the other kangaroos were content laying around letting tourists feed them, Roo wanted to go somewhere. See the world. So, he joined us on the rest of our trip, leaving his buds at Bonorong behind, first for an adventure through New Zealand and then on to America.
